~ local Los Angeles estate sale find - vintage reinforced cardboard combintation hat box/wig box in a blue tapa pattern. ~ Cream-colored background with blue artwork and a dark blue cap with two silk cord handles, top & bottom. ~ The artwork may be wallpaper. ~ 13" tall x 11" in diameter ~ The reinforced, dark blue cap is riveted onto the box - the box opens from the bottom. ~ Inside the bottom cap is another removable cardboard insert to which the styrofoam head is mounted. ~ No manufacturer or artist name that I can find anywhere on the box, inside or out. ~ Strong and undented. No tears or holes. Some light rubbing to the edges. Blue silk cords are are strong and undamaged. Clean inside and out.
