Vintage "Basett" hat box with vintage Gibbe ladies spring pink flower hat inside

Large old hat box containing a Beautiful Ladies summer refined straw hat. The brim is larger in front and small in back, and it is adorned with velvet and silk pink flowers and ribbon. Excellent condition. The box is worn- see pics, but it is still intact. Lining fabric implies that it is much older than the hat itself as does the large size.  I suspect the box is from the 1930s and the hat from the 50s or 60s. The hat is not a very large size- it's not marked but I think I have an average/on the larger size head and it's a little snug on me. (I would have kept it if it fit!  haha)
