appearance - it's 7 ½ inches long and 7 inches wide. The stem is 2 ½ inches long and the leaves are crocheted separately and then attached to the bursting red berry. It's as practical as it is good looking as its thick and sturdy - you can slip in a layer of outing flannel or heavy unbleached muslin between the two sides - making it heavy enough to handle the hottest pots without burning your hand.
