Со времен войн с Наполеоном офицерская ташка уже не несла никакой практической нагрузки, кроме эстетической: это было действительно красиво. Этим же доводом руководствовались и в прочих европейских армиях.
За образец при изготовлении взята оригинальная ташка начала XIX века.
При изготовлении использована натуральная кожа, золотое шитье, приборное сукно, шелк.
