    This is a rare piece from the Albany Northern Railroad of N.Y. The ANRR was part of the D&H system and only existed for a little over 4 years.

    VERY NICE solid interesting item. Hard to find anything from the Troy & Greenfield Railroad[1848-1862] in the first place nd then have mentioned the  Hoosac Tunnel of W. Adams, Massachusetts with a nice dark brown fading to a lighter color Revenue R15 stamp. Just a really nice unusual, collectible, rare combo for the right collector.
