Original Black Beaded Chatelaine Cherub Purse with matching Cherub Clip. Cherubs are a true Victorian depiction of purity and it is rare to find both purse and clip to match. Last photo shows Patent date 1900. It boast a delicate chain of unusual design as well as the original patina. The bag is a soft supple leather.
This is a beautiful representation of the Victorian time and your chance to own a wonderful historical relic of that bygone era! It is in Near perfect condition. The only flaw I see is a strand of beads missing in the fringe. Normally I would have taken some of the beads from the fringe toward the top to replace the missing strand but I didn’t want to alter the original condition. If interested I could still do that.
