Not sure IF it is nocturnal or Daytime, BUT based of my observation, it will be
Nocturnal
in special situations. They are Burrower dweller means they digs and make rooms to stay away from sun, dry/hot weather.
Temperature/humidity:
can keep in house temperature but recommend keep them around at least 68F to 77-80F. Humidity range 30-70%, Readily activity at 38-58% RH
They HUNTS
: Crickets, Roaches, Worms, Centipedes, Any Small Insects that fits THEIR Stag pincher or similar size to their body size. Even any small invertebrates, includes any small reptiles, small toads, Even dried freezes insects bites like from fish foods/poultry foods that have insects bites.
My observation
, they more actively when have moist/mist happens that they would get out of soils and search for water to drinks IF they dont feel hungry to hunts but a thirst for water. Also they will drinks it from soils or any overflow water drinking areas. They would so happy to rehydrate and more actively than dry/hot weather treats them poorly.
They love burrowing and trekking/roaming around a lot to forage and doing their business to do.
Throw insect carcass or live insects food more than it does and it will set them off more frenzy feeding hunts know as Massacres mode. PLEASE Careful house together, they WILLING murdering/killing each other IF you attempts breeding or communal setup. RECOMMEND HOUSE INDIVIDUALLY, BUT ITS YOUR CHOICES.
