Description

French Army TAP 50 Paratroopers Equipment as worn in Indochina and Algeria.
Includes a mix of original items and later French Equipment (Belt and Canteen Cover) modified to replicate the first pattern TAP 50 equipment.
Later RAPCO buckle and third rivet removed from the later Mle 50/53 belt is included in one of the pouch pockets.
Likewise the canteen cover has been backdated from a Mle 52 cover by replacing the rear straps and adding lift the dot closure.
Pouch for the Mle 1909 Pelle Pioche (Pick Mattock) appears to be dated 1960.
