    Description

    I am offering for sale a framed hand painted miniature portrait of French King Louis XVI on natural material in a wooden frame with convex glass and velour backing.  The detail is very fine and the colors are vivid.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  The notation on the back of the frame indicates that it was reframed in 1998.  The frame measures 8" high x 7 1/2" wide.  The image measures 3 1/4" x 2 1/2".
