    Description

    Item Description
8.5" overall. Black metal and nickel body with wood grips. Non-firing replica. Boxed.
The Model 1849 Pocket Revolver, which came in many variations, was the bestselling of all of Colt’s percussion line. It was particularly popular with pioneer families as a defensive weapon on the American frontier. Manufactured from 1850 to 1873, total production of the diminutive revolver was in excess of 325,000. The revolvers of the "Wells Fargo" series were designed for easy concealment, and the most noticeable feature is the lack of a loading lever. Ironically, there is no conclusive evidence proving that Wells Fargo agents were actually issued the model.
"This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug."
