This is Conrail’s Harrisburg Division in 1995. Conrail dissolved the Harrisburg Division early in 1996. The Harrisburg Division is 1000 miles of railroad that is Conrail’s Allegheny crossing, from Baltimore almost to Buffalo and Reading to Johnstown, this division includes historic Horseshoe Curve.
This is a scan of an original Conrail’s Harrisburg Division 1995 Track Chart. Major cities include: Baltimore, Hagerstown, Mechanicsburg, Altoona, Johnstown, and Lancaster. This is the mountainous heart of the old Pennsylvania Railroad. The Buffalo Line, Harrisburg Line, Pittsburgh Line, Landover Line, Reading Line and many branch lines/secondarys are part of this track chart.
