STORES AND IS AUTHENTIC ***+Antique Brass Cannon YORKTOWN, VA.
You can find this almost exact cannon in the famous Musium in Virginia.  I spoke to the curator there when I was researching this. She gave me a ton of info. Its not as valuable as I had hoped when finding this as a young man but it is worth something.
I found this when my parents were landscaping when I was 10 in our back yard I am 47 now. I Also found a Cast iron swan two piece small iron thing. Strangely it vanished from its shelf at my parents. I saw the exact same one in a Milwaukee Musium as a kid on a school
Field trip. I imagine we would find a lot if we dug six feet deep in many places. A great deal of buried real history all over the world.
Anyhow this is valued by the curator of the Musium in Virginia and they have some on display.  The appraisal value is 0 in good shape and not broken and in  one piece.
This is in perfect shape and not broken.
It is solid brass set in a cast iron base. And the cannon works if you know what your doing. Ive never done it as I never even cleaned it. Left it exactly how it was found in the ground. However it has a hole on top for a wick and is hollow.

The town is most famous as the site of the siege and subsequent surrender of General Charles Cornwallisto General George Washington and the French Fleetduring the American Revolutionary War on October 19, 1781. Although the war would last for another year, this British defeat at Yorktown effectively ended the war. Yorktown also figured prominently in the American Civil War (1861–1865), serving as a major port to supply both northern and southern towns, depending upon who held Yorktown at the time.
Today, Yorktown is one of three sites of the Historic Triangle, which also includes Jamestown and Williamsburg as important colonial-era settlements. It is the eastern terminus of the Colonial Parkway connecting these locations. Yorktown is also the eastern terminus of the Trans America Trail, a bicycle touring route created by the Adventure Cycling Association.
One of Yorktown's historic sister cities is Zweibrücken in Germany, based on participation of a unit from there during the American Revolutionary War.
