Behemoth 16 inch naval cannon hand forged percussion igniter

Description

Behemoth 16 inch naval cannon, hand forged percussion igniter. This percussion igniter  obviously is well-used and saw a lot of action. This old collector's item was a rare find in an old abandoned farm building. It is solid forged steel and the striker is mushroomed and split from being hammered It will make an interesting thought-provoking  conversation piece for the hip collector.  The hole is tapered, the end is dimpled it had light rust which I wire brushed off.
