    Description

    I am offering for sale a 19th Century hand painted miniature portrait of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte painted on natural material in a beautiful wooden frame.  It is signed by the artist on the right side.
    The details are very fine and the colors are vivid.  The frame has a patterned brass inset around the glass.  The portrait is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint loss but the frame has age appropriate wear.  See photos.  There is reflection of light in the photos.    The frame measures 2 7/8" in diameter and the portrait is 1 1/8" in diameter.
