    Description

1911 Large 7x9 Color Art Ad Display Cards (3 Diff) Clothing/Hats Peterson Phila
This is a lot of three very attractive and very well made advertising items for E H Peterson, Tailors, on Walnut Street  in Philadelphia. Each card is made of a thick, sturdy stock. The center part of the card is recessed and contains a wonderful art image advertising the latest in hats and fashions. The lady with horse is printed directly on the card, the other two have the artwork on a 4 3/8” x 8 3/8” stiff stock attached to the card within the recess. Each card has an onionskin or glassine covering (two are loose) which has an ad for Peterson Tailors. Identified artist are M Greiner (lady standing by fountain) and T J Beckman (lady with horse). Some edge wear to the onionskins, the cards are clean and in excellent condition.
