    Description

    1883 8 page railroad agreement document between Beech Creek, Philadelphia ,Jersey Shore, NY, Pine Creek RRs and Fall Brook Coal Co and The Clearfield Bituminous Coal Co to allow coal to be shipped by rail to NY.  There is a lot of information about this deal on Wikipedia.org by searching Beech Creek RR.  The pages are numbered 549-556.  They appear to have been part of a larger book but these are the only pages I have.  I do not believe it is a complete document because the last page has a Clerk's statement from the State of New York, County of Steuben which is not complete.  The main part of the agreement is all there.  There is a tear in each page on the right margin which is approximately 1 inch long (see last photo). The tear does not enter into the document wording.
