    Description

    This is some kind of receipt or sales record dated July 16, 1869 indicating the transportation of merchandise for Phenix Mills, destination Vernon Depot, to the New London Northern R.R. Company. Someone signed it as having received payment for the company. I can't make out some of the other items written. The receipt measures 7" x 3.5". It has a piece of paper stuck to the top, left corner.
